The Lafayette Leopards represent the 23 Division I varsity athletic teams of Lafayette College and compete in the Patriot League. There are 11 men’s teams, 11 women’s teams, and one co-ed team. The club teams also compete as the Leopards.

Dean of Students

The Office of the Dean of Students is responsible for the well being of students by providing exemplary programs and services designed to enhance the overall student experience. The dean of students oversees the Departments of Recreation Services, Residence Life, Student Conduct, and Student Life Programs as well as performs other duties as assigned by the Vice President. The dean of students endeavors to enhance students’ academic and personal success by working closely with students, faculty and staff to create learning opportunities that integrate academic experiences with life outside the classroom. Students are encouraged to contact the dean of students, who welcomes the opportunity to discuss questions and concerns, academic or personal.

Fraternities and Sororities

As part of the Office of Residence Life, Fraternity and Sorority Life supports a values-based Living Learning Community committed to Academic Integration, Leader Development, Civic Engagement, Intercultural Development, and Values Congruency. The staff works to challenge and support a values-based experience in consortio of the Lafayette College advisers, alumni, and Inter/national HQ’s.

The Landis Center strives to connect students, faculty, and staff with members of the local Easton community. Through co-curricular service-learning projects and community-based learning, research, and service, the Landis Center supports campus-community collaborations on a variety of levels.

The Department of Public Safety provides security and crime prevention, as well as transportation, environmental, Health and Safety training, and various services to the campus community. Its mission is to provide a safe and secure environment for the campus community.

Recreation Services

Recreation Services provides exercise-centered experiences that encourage lifelong healthy habits and positive use of leisure time, along with numerous employment opportunities for students to develop transferable skills. Student Leadership and Involvement

The Office of Student Leadership and Involvement includes two departments: Student Leadership and Student Involvement. The Department of Student Leadership provides a coordinated vision for the Division of Campus Life’s efforts to cultivate and provide student leadership development programming, as well as educating and mentoring individual student leaders and student organizations. The Department of Student Involvement supports the holistic development of students by offering robust co-curricular opportunities that are intentionally connected to students’ academic and residential experiences at the College.
