The Lafayette Leopards represent the 23 Division I varsity athletic teams of Lafayette College and compete in the Patriot League. There are 11 men’s teams, 11 women’s teams, and one co-ed team. The club teams also compete as the Leopards.

The Office of the Dean of Students is responsible for the well being of students by providing exemplary programs and services designed to enhance the overall student experience. The dean of students oversees the Departments of Recreation Services, Residence Life, Student Conduct, and Student Life Programs as well as performs other duties as assigned by the Vice President. The dean of students endeavors to enhance students’ academic and personal success by working closely with students, faculty and staff to create learning opportunities that integrate academic experiences with life outside the classroom. The Office of Student Leadership and Involvement includes two departments: Student Leadership and Student Involvement. The Department of Student Leadership provides a coordinated vision for the Division of Campus Life’s efforts to cultivate and provide student leadership development programming, as well as educating and mentoring individual student leaders and student organizations. The Department of Student Involvement supports the holistic development of students by offering robust co-curricular opportunities that are intentionally connected to students’ academic and residential experiences at the College.
